We are looking for a Warehouse  Lead who will join our Hawthorne team in Santa Rosa, CA.

Starting pay $24 an hour!

The Warehouse Lead is responsible for assisting the production supervisor in directing resources to safely and efficiently perform job tasks associated with our component and raw material warehouse.

What you’ll do in this role:

  • Ensure associates adhere to plant safety rules and programs. Lead by example through participation in safe behavior processes and programs.

  • Ensure that equipment inspections, work instructions and standard operating procedures are followed as specified.

  • Participate and perform investigations and provide detailed documentation as it pertains to safety incidents, including root causes and corrective actions.

  • Communicate and relay information to peers and supervisors concerning the performance of the warehouse as it pertains to storage, material handling, and inventory accuracy.

  • Continuously look for methods, procedural changes, or equipment modifications to improve warehouse output and efficiencies.

  • Communicate and collaborate with support areas within the plant to achieve plant targets for safety, performance and quality.

  • Ability to use appropriate interpersonal styles and methods to inspire and guide individuals and work teams toward goal achievement; modifying behavior to accommodate tasks, situations, and individuals involved.

  • Safely and efficiently pull components from the warehouse for replenishment on production lines

  • Safely and efficiently pull raw materials from the warehouse for production blending/mixing requirements

  • Unload, breakdown, and stow incoming product

  • Operate varying types of equipment including: forklift, pallet riders, pallet wrapper, order picker

  • Contribute to a fun and fast paced working environment

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • 3 years of experience operating warehouse equipment (forklift, order picker, pallet riders, etc.)

  • Good time management skills

  • Courteous and professional demeanor

  • Ability to perform with a sense of urgency and accuracy

  • Strong desire to provide excellent customer service

  • Experience with product pulling/tracking computer programs is desirable

  • Must be able to lift 55lb. products periodically throughout the day with no physical limitations

  • Ability to operate efficiently in a fast-paced environment

  • Clear written and verbal communication
