We are looking for a Warehouse Coordinator at our Phillipsburg, NJ distribution center. This is a brand new location and you could be an important part of building the operation from the ground up!
What you'll do in this role:
Pull reports to track inventory and job management reports.
Research and resolve inventory discrepancies.
Update warehouse procedures to improve workflow.
Create purchase orders for warehouse supplies, create templates and bin locations to transfer quantities.
Train back-ups for data entry and ground services.
Seek cost savings opportunities such as comparing supply vendors.
Submit inventory adjustments and disposal requests.
Follow order SOP’s.
Update MSDS as needed.
Contribute to safety program.
Maintain warehouse filing.
Answer phones and assist DC Manager with employee communications.
What you'll need to be successful:
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Excellent time management skills
Knowledge of product pulling/inventory systems
Excellent attention to detail
Good research skills for resolving inventory discrepancies
Able to operate efficiently in a fast paced environment
Courteous and professional demeanor
Experience with ground services
