We are looking for a Quality Control Technician who will grow at our Vancouver, WA facility. 


In this role you will:

  • Perform routine visual inspections of all raw materials, manufactured products, and finished goods for product uniformity, consistency, molds, or contaminants.

  • Evaluate product consistency, stability and potency.

  • Communicate with supervisor and production supervisor when problems are identified.

  • Test all incoming raw materials as received. Performs daily QC audits.

  • Check and test consistency of raw materials on a monthly basis.

  • Track all raw material locations, piles and data to evaluate consistency, stability, and potency.

  • Assist R&D with raw material qualifications when needed.

  • Check consistency of finished goods and inspects products for packaging defects, product uniformity, consistency, molds, or contaminant.

  • Ensure all finished good pallets are secured to pallets properly, no loose stretch wrap and pallet caps are adequately covering finished goods.

  • Maintain clean and safe working environment by ensuring all materials are put away in their proper place when not in use.

  • Promote, execute and adhere to the company’s safety program, and encourage all employees, to adopt safety as a culture.

  • Work in a safe, responsible manner to not intentionally or unintentionally injure oneself, or endanger the wellbeing of others.

  • Participate as a vital team member, and contribute towards the success of the organization.

  • Complete required EH&S Training programs as assigned.

  • Perform all other tasks as assigned.

The perfect person will have:

  • Regular attendance and timeliness

  • Must have High School diploma.

  • Experience with standard laboratory concepts, practices, and procedures.

  • Experience with conventional and hydroponic gardening concepts, practices, and procedures.

  • Ability to identify patterns and correlations.

  • Ability to maintain detailed records, record keeping

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize duties.

  • Ability to coordinate many activities.

  • Ability to follow through assignments with a minimum of direction.

  • Must have good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Must be detail oriented.

  • Basic skills of MS Word, Excel & Global Shop.
