We’re looking for a Sr Analyst, Material Requirement Planner who will grow at our Vancouver, WA production facility.

The Sr Analyst, Material Requirement Planner is responsible for planning inbound deliveries for component to keep production schedules on target.  The material planner will provide accurate inbound delivery schedules by developing strong relationships with vendors to receive accurate fulfillment data. This position will also play a key role in managing the fulfillment rates and vendor performance.

What you'll do in this role:

  • Determining the required materials and generating purchase orders.
  • Managing inventory issues, schedule changes, and cancellations
  • Develop and communicate component-level inventory management improvement initiatives, phase in/phase out projects, strategies, and budget.
  • Develop and implement system driven SAP Material Requirements Planning solutions. This includes implementation of order optimization, transition planning, and statistical safety stock modeling.
  • Identify and manage timely disposition excess and obsolete inventory, blocked stock, and slow moving inventory. Ensure component material status is categorized & managed for appropriate life cycle management in SAP.
  • Owns the development for ideal processes supporting the flow of materials and products to and from Hawthorne’s manufacturing site.
  • Escalate issues proactively identified to ensure no business interruption.
  • Manage material master MRP data in SAP.

What you'll need to be successful:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Logistics, Supply Chain Management.
  • 3+ years of inventory management, material requirement planning, or procurement experience.
  • Experience using SAP, JDA, or similar systems.
  • Experience utilizing Material Requirements Planning tools (SAP desired).
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Access.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrate adaptability when faced with a new challenge.
  • Passionate and detailed in task execution.
  • Ability to be flexible and open to change.

Some other nice to have’s:

  • APICS certification.
  • Experience in leading projects with cross-functional work groups.
