Responsibilities:

  • Help manage supply chain planning support functions as well as sales/inventory reporting processes for all e-commerce related initiatives.  The Analyst position is responsible for forecasting, various supply chain related tasks (detail below), catalog management, identifying sales opportunities, sales reporting, e-commerce project management, and improving all eCommerce scorecards for all accounts.

  • This role will incorporate the understanding of key business drivers learned through collaboration with multiple HGC business groups and the customers while accommodating customer-specific variables.  This position will collaborate regularly with multiple internal and external partners. This includes the evaluation of 3rd party resources, service providers, mergers, and acquisitions.   

In this role you will:

Forecasting:

  • Execute standardized processes and forecasting methodology for assigned category and customer.  

  • Utilize forecasting tools to develop and maintain operational forecasts which align to financial forecasts.

  • Collaborate with sales teams, demand planning, demand fulfillment, and the customer to understand and analyze key business drivers for all product categories

  • Review item level POS and shipment forecast consumption to identify root cause and corrective action.  Validate forecasts for new and transitioning items.

  • Build seasonal and non-seasonal inventory minimums at the item/store level.  

  • Build sales volumes and timing for seasonal/promotional items.

Sales support:

  • Identify sales opportunities across all categories and geographies.  

  • Lead efforts to develop order recommendations and communicating to accounts.  

  • Manage reporting and analytic process for all sales and financial information.  

  • Manage eComm catalogs across all accounts, work with BDT counterparts on updating system as needed

  • Provide executive sales summaries to leadership team.  

Project Management / Continuous Improvement:

  • Support evaluation processes for key external partners related to eCommerce

  • Support annual supply chain cost to serve analysis

  • Develop cost savings/avoidance projects related to packaging, manufacturing, and pick/pack/ship process.

  • Run model scenario’s end to end for existing drop ship and DTC programs while supporting expansion opportunities.  This includes financial data to support P&L targets. Manage operational vendor scorecard and identify opportunities to improve operational inefficiencies.  

  • Support all DTC initiatives as needed, including partnership efforts with R&D and innovation teams

Logistics:

  • Manage maintenance and new item set up processes to support catalog management

  • Manage order flows and resolve issues with customer orders

  • Manage RFS process each year to ensure smooth transition into new year

  • Provide guidance to order processing team to ensure orders flow through system properly

  • Manage customer and internal performance scorecards, including quality issues

  • Monitor customer compliance (Includes fine reduction/avoidance)

  • Monitor shipping site and shipper performance

The perfect person will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Preferred majors: Digital, E-Commerce, Economics/Econometrics, Statistics, Marketing, Information Systems, Supply Chain & Logistics, Finance;

  • Preferred 1+ years of experience in eCommerce, Online, Supply Chain/Operations, digital analytics;

  • Strong Quantitative, Qualitative analytics experience;

  • Lead and develop processes and projects to drive improvement and profitability while supporting key initiatives;

  • Analytics experience in either a retail or consumer products environment;

  • Preferred 1+ years of experience with pricing analytics, econometrics, and/or supply chain analytics;

  • MS Office and or G Suite proficiency, strong excel skills required
