We are looking for a Senior Maintenance Operator  at our production facility in Palmdale, FL!!

What you’ll do in this role:

  • Administers workload to subordinates and follows up on the quality and quantity of their work.

  • Plans, prepares and revises any equipment problems, new projects and safety issues to insure cost effective methods and materials are used to complete the task in a timely manner.

  • Repairs broken machinery and equipment using the proper use of tools and insures all safety precautions are implemented before starting the task.

  • Performs preventative maintenance on the plant equipments and warehouse equipment.                

  • May assist in other areas of the plant or region to insure a smooth operation of business.

  • Report quality and safety outages and work to correct where necessary

  • Comply with OSHA and MSDS Standards

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • Preferred education level is a High School Diploma or GED.

  • 4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Knowledge of equipment maintenance and repair procedures, basic electrical practices, safe practices and procedures,

  • Ability to read and write English and to follow instructions.

  • Ability to work in a dusty environment, hot/cold/rainy weather.  

  • Ability to climb ladders and work at high elevations.  

  • Basic electrical knowledge, ability to operate power tools.  

  • Ability to fabricate guards, hoppers, etc. to insure we maintain a safe work environment.

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds

  • Ability to climb on and off of required equipment

  • Ability to communicate effectively

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
