We are looking for a Returns Program Manager who will join our Hawthorne team in Vancouver, WA.

In this position, you will be a leader, required to collaborate cross-functionally with technical, operations, and business teams to implement and monitor solutions.

What you’ll do in this role:

  • Drive continuous improvement by examining existing processes and technologies.  Work with cross-functional teams on the development of solutions in the areas of return order entry, claim resolution, vendor credit collection, account compliance processes. Identify, analyze, and work with appropriate parties to resolve system or process issues.   

  • Work together with the supply chain and sales functions, Quality, Brand Management, Procurement, and our retail partners to resolve issues and to ensure that return service processes are being executed with responsiveness and accuracy, while supporting the overall goals of the company.

  • Collect and publish program-related materials to support our retail partners while driving common processes and learnings within the team. Compose training materials and direct training sessions for existing and new associates. Participate in and execute special projects in areas such as metric reporting, product and customer questions, audit requests, and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • 3 - 5 years experience in a customer service or supply chain role.  

  • Experience interfacing with a retail customer base or in account management.  

  • Experience with ERP systems, planning systems, call center systems, or proven ability to work with systems and technologies

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience in a product, program, and/or project management role.

  • Experience with business analysis, measuring the success of a complex business process, and proposing new business opportunities based on data.

  • Experience communicating goals and strategies across multiple leadership levels, and facets of an organization.

Some other nice to have’s:

  • Superior analytical and troubleshooting skills.  Ability to work cross-functionally within the organization as well as with customers.  

  • Experience leading large scale, cross-functional, new initiatives or continuous improvement programs. 

  • Strong PC skills; ability to use Microsoft Office suite. 

  • Desired ability to use SAP and BW.  

  • Professional presence; ability to communicate effectively via phone & email.  

  • Willingness to work in excess of 40 hours per week as needed.
