Job Description

As a Project Manager, you are accountable for product market introduction projects in the retail market based on the product expansion strategy. You will be focusing on the creation of the project vision and planning documents and manage the implementation, reporting and performance of the overall project with the expectation of delivering on time, within budget, and to scope.

What we expect:

  • Work closely with local departments in the Netherlands and with our colleagues in the US to coordinate a seamless execution of action plans to increase International retail sales.
  • Manage and plan product launch projects based on the product strategy created by the product management team.
  • Partner with SMG & Hawthorne project management to align on project planning and global strategies
  • Collaborate with the marketing and sales department to ensure a well prepared and commercially efficient execution of the product introductions
  • Liaise with the supply chain team in the Netherlands for administrative and order-related tasks
  • Coordinate with planning and logistics to ensure timely planning, stock-keeping and shipment of products from and to various countries
  • Meet with project managers in Vancouver and Ohio regularly (every 4-6 weeks) to discuss progress
  • Collect data of existing Hawthorne products in order to fulfill business cases (cost, import duties, registration costs, shipping costs, etc) – liaise with North American colleagues in Vancouver and Ohio
  • Gather technical data and requirements for Europe products from the regulatory, category, marketing departments in North America
  • Prepare financial details for business cases
