We are looking for a Senior Pricing Analyst who will join our Hawthorne Gardening Finance team in Marysville, OH.

Hawthorne Gardening is looking for a Senior Pricing Analyst will be responsible for leading pricing and promotional execution for our business.  

What you’ll do in this role:

• The role will work closely with Category Managers, Sales, and Finance to maximize pricing opportunities and to analyze the effectiveness of promotions

• Maintain existing pricing programs and procedures within SAP

• Execute mass data loads for pricing updates/changes within SAP 

• Collaborate with Sales and Category teams in analyzing the impact of sales and promotions through margin analysis 

• Work closely with the Brand Marketing, Brand Finance, Business Execution, and Sales teams to achieve annual pricing goals by identifying products/categories which are able to take pricing

• Lead ad-hoc pricing analytics deep dives at a category level to identify pricing opportunities and shape promotion strategy to influence business decisions

• Develop ad hoc analysis and data visualization in SAP BI and/or Tableau 

What you’ll need to be successful:

• Attentive to detail, expertise with large data sets, a proactive approach to problem solving and process improvement 

• The ability to build strong relationships with Sales and Finance organizations is also a key to success

• Able to influence key business stakeholders

• Education: BA/BS in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or related fields

• 3-5 years  experience using ERP databases and SAP experience preferred 

• SAP Sales and Distribution Modules and Tableau a plus

• Strong data processing skills

• Strong verbal, written, and collaborative communication skills

• Willingness to travel occasionally (up to 25%)
