We are looking for a Lead Maintenance Mechanic who will grow at our Olivehurst, CA location. This position works a 4/10 schedule, Monday - Thursday, 6:30 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. (45 min. lunch)

In this role you will:

  • Assemble, maintain, and disassemble machinery, equipment, and other elements of the operation. Fabricate, assemble, treat and repair parts and other elements of the operation.
  • Transport machines, equipment, or other elements to desired location
  • Assemble machines, equipment, or other elements from their component parts, ensuring detailed directions and specifications are adhered to
  • Complete routine and preventive maintenance for all machines, equipment, and other elements
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with machines, equipment, or other elements
  • Assist in minor and major repairs of machines, equipment, or other elements
  • Disassemble machines, equipment, or other elements to their component parts
  • Carefully organize and catalog component parts
  • Transport machines, equipment, or other elements after disassembly
  • Fabricate, treat, or repair surfaces, parts or other elements as needed
  • Ensure safe work practices
  • Ensure equipment and machinery remain in safe working condition.
  • Ensure compliance with mandatory state and federal occupational health and safety laws.
  • Maintain clean and safe working environment by ensuring work spaces are cleaned during down-time and at the end of each day
  • Perform all other tasks as assigned
  • Work in a Warehouse environment (warehouse covered by California Proposition 65)
  • Be exposed to hazardous materials
  • Be exposed to natural temperature fluctuations.
  • Be exposed to varying noise levels
  • Be exposed to air particulates

The perfect person will have:

  • High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency, plus 3 years related experience
  • Reliable transportation
  • PC literate with experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel a Plus
  • Excellent Communication: verbal, written
  • Regular attendance and timeliness
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Strong math skills
  • Knowledge of pneumatics
  • Knowledge of hydraulics
  • Knowledge of electronics
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical instructions
  • Knowledge of state and federal safety laws
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize duties
  • Ability to coordinate many activities
  • Ability to follow through assignments with a minimum of direction
  • Ability to direct and manage subordinates
  • Ability to operate machinery and equipment
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work positively in a team environment
  • Be detail oriented
