We are looking for an HR Operations Specialist who will join our Human Resources team.  Corporate Headquarters is located in Columbus, OH but we are open to applicants that are remote.

As the HR Operations Specialist, you will focus on associate experience, HR operational excellence, and supporting the HR Operations team in driving business and talent growth with a specific business group(s).  We have big ideas about how to solve complex business problems but don’t always have the time to do the research, find the solution and put it all together to get it across the finish line. That is where we need you.  

What you’ll do in this role:

  • Interact daily with our amazing associates to answer questions about our top notch benefits plans, payroll, or occasionally just chat with them about how their day is going

  • Build strong relationships and provide daily support with key HR partners to ensure the team is meeting the needs of our internal customers

  • Execute associate service standards for various associate support channels including email, case management tickets and phone calls

  • Assist our business partners with associate changes to make sure our systems are accurate and up to date 

  • Help drive process improvement initiatives that contribute to long-term operational excellence and identify other business opportunities and/or improvements and initiatives

  • Support communication to the business of changes to policies and procedures

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • HR experience; if you have held roles such as, but not limited to, Human Resource Specialist, Human Resources Coordinator, Shared Service Specialist, HR Administrator, HR Representative,

  • Exposure to supporting multiple business functions preferred; experience to include:

    • Conducting exit interviews, talent development efforts and involvement in ER investigations

    • Coaching, counseling, and influencing business partners and/or leaders in regards to HR related matters 

  • Understanding of Employment Law and organizational development

  • Experience overcoming obstacles and seeing things through despite challenges

  • Ability to prioritize and organize effectively and to show initiative to accomplish job duties in a timely manner

  • Self-starter and are energized by your intellectual curiosity
