The Human Resources Director  will support the Vancouver, WA corporate office and manufacturing facilities .  

This position requires an intellectually curious leader, with high emotional intelligence, a strong sense of urgency, and a passion for finding creative solutions to business problems while maintaining continuity with standard practices and processes.

Functional Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate leadership and guidance through coaching, counseling and problem solving with operation leaders, front line managers, and associates

  • Drive talent growth initiatives including personalized development of high potentials and emerging leaders through facilitating talent planning, succession readiness and utilization of performance management tools

  • Serve as an advisor to the leadership team by providing insight, coaching and HR-related solutions to business leaders in the effective management and development of their people and their organization

  • Provides HR guidance and leadership on policy interpretation, performance management, and compliance with state and federal laws

  • Effectively manage associate relations issues, including conducting workplace investigations

  • Partner with HR specialty groups to ensure strategic and tactical HR programs are executed flawlessly to drive talent growth

  • Provide talent related processes that build capability in our field leaders including recruiting, talent development, onboarding, performance management, culture, reward and recognition

  • Support the hourly recruiting life-cycle by identifying, interviewing and onboarding the hourly workforce.

  • Drive a positive culture that creates an inspiring associate experience

  • Champion the annual performance and compensation planning process to recognize and reward associates

  • Partner with HR process owners and business leaders to support the business integration plan over the next 24 months


  • Seven to ten years of experience as a Human Resources Generalist in a fast-paced multi-site environment preferably a supply chain/manufacturing business unit

  • Bachelor’s degree required, or relevant experience

  • Ability to speak English and Spanish preferred

  • Estimated travel 30% of the time, which includes overnight travel

  • Demonstrated strong judgment and proven ability to diagnose issues, drawing on both professional experience and strategic thinking skills to drive appropriate solutions with self-initiative

  • Strong business acumen and ability to work well across different functions in order to develop and integrate HR and business strategies

  • Strong Talent Management capability in leveraging talent lifecycle fundamentals to grow individual and team performance to achieve company goals, and support company priorities

  • Intellectual curiosity with innate desire to learn how things work

  • Energized by high change environments and is comfortable with ambiguity

  • A high level of ownership, accountability, and sense of urgency

  • Approachable demeanor, but willing to stand up for what he/she believes in

  • Proven, creative problem solver with both breadth and depth of experience across the HR function

  • Must be relocatable

Salary: Excellent compensation and benefits package, sign on bonus provided upon successful background check and hire
