We are looking for a CNC Programmer who will grow at our Vancouver, WA facility.

Under general supervision, this position is responsible for machine setup and maintenance and production output quality control. This is a safety sensitive position where the employee holding this position has the responsibility for his/her own safety and other people's safety

In this role you will:

  • Conduct CNC maintenance and upkeep
  • Manage CNC cutting tools and supply requirements
  • Design input of program and fixture for new and existing projects
  • Continue to produce CNC Fixtures and Programs for existing parts
  • Conduct CNC fixture design and build
  • Assist in all secondary design and build of trim fixtures
  • CAD drawings for design and sales presentation
  • Assist in developing a cost study program to capture costs and minimize for best profit
  • Train employees to be efficient and competent operators
  • Help with quality assurance of final product
  • Assist with future processes we will encounter, heat bending/glue fixtures and processes, final assembly’s and prototyping
  • Will assist our company with the ability to make better secondary/more accurate trim fixtures using the CNC

The perfect person will have:

  • 2 years progressively responsible experience in machine operations, set up, maintenance, calibration and repair, or a related field.Associates degree or completion of trade/vocational school program, Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Drafting, preferred.Knowledge of CNC machine operations
  • Knowledge of safety protocol
  • Knowledge of quality control criteria
  • Knowledge of tools and tool making
  • Skill in machine maintenance, calibration, and repair
  • Skill in machine operation
  • Skill in pattern making
  • Skill in CAD 3D drafting
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to proactively diagnose machine malfunctions
  • Ability to prepare and present machine operation training
