Responsible for supervising a group of inside sales representatives, providing training, coaching, and mentoring to develop associates on sales processes. Responsible to profitably grow inside sales to achieve sales growth goals. Responsible for prospecting for new accounts, retaining existing accounts, and increasing opportunities with existing customers.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Ensures inside sales representatives use time effectively to increase sales. 

  • Follows-up and reinforces sales techniques utilizing consultative and solution selling methods.

  • Oversees inside sales operations and procedures to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency.

  • Reports on sales metrics and suggest improvements. 

  • Monitors activities of team members to ensure day-to-day responsibilities are met, including reports, daily call plans, etc., are completed correctly and on time.

  • Serves as liaison between sales department and other related departments. 

  • Develops and sustains sales relationships with key decision makers and influencers

  • Coordinates and executes department projects to meet deadlines. Ensures sales, finance, and legal policies and procedures are followed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS/BA in a related discipline.

  • 2-3 years inside sales and team leadership experience.

  • Experience with sales techniques to include consultative selling and solution selling.

  • Experience in business to business sales.

  • Previous sales experience in similar industry preferred.
