We are looking for a Full Stack Web Developer who will grow at our Vancouver, WA location.

We are a group of hardworking developers that are passionate about producing top tier work while maintaining a fun and enjoyable work environment.  We expect you to operate in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment in which you will need to balance technical expertise with a strong business understanding. At Hawthorne, we are continually investigating new innovative solutions.

In this role you will:

  • Lead and manage the design, development, and implementation of technical solutions within a project team supporting internet websites and mobile applications.

  • Perform hands on technical tasks configuring the applications

  • Publish work plans and statuses.

  • Partner with customers to identify information and business process enhancement needs

  • Research solutions to assist in developing an applications roadmap, partnering with Business Partners and IT vendors

  • Collaborate with internal Business Partners and works cross-functionally with departmental team members to foster team commitment to tasks

  • Prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written.  

  • Create and update required documentation and applications

  • Develop and adhere to detailed processes for all operational work

  • Foster and maintain good relationships with Business Partners to ensure design requirements are integrated to support expected customer service levels.

  • Unit testing and cross-functional integration testing for solutions

  • Provide timely production support for break-fix issues

  • Ensure the business systems are secure and reliable supporting continuous operation of the company

  • Apply project management techniques and project life cycle methodologies are required and related tools

  • Provide rotational off-hours production support.

The perfect person will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science or Management, Information systems, or relevant work experience

  • 3+ years minimum of development experience

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills

  • Knowledgeable of information technologies and methodologies in a client server/n-tiered/web environment.

  • Technical knowledge utilizing ASP.NET MVC, ASP.Net WEB API, C#, SQL Server

  • Practical exposure and/or experience with JavaScript and UI/front-end frameworks

  • Use of application source control software

  • Working knowledge of T-SQL databases

  • Experience desired in leading part of a project which includes success in managing deliverables and deadlines to implement new system solutions.
