We are looking for a Deployment Analyst who will join our Planning team. You could be located in Vancouver, WA (Portland, OR area) as well as Marysville, OH (Columbus, OH area). The Deployment team is responsible for balancing and optimizing inventory across our network of Distribution Centers and Manufacturing Plants. Our Deployment Analyst partners cross-functionally to execute inventory strategies on a day to day basis to support growth, profitability and superior service to our customers through flawless execution.

Every day you will:

  • Work with internal partners to drive accurate and timely execution of inventory allocation strategies

  • Provide standardized reporting and ad hoc analysis to support strategic business decisions

  • Develop an understanding of the product portfolio and regional selling differences and their impact on the inventory strategy

  • Be a vocal cross-functional contributor as inventory strategies come to life – ensure the Deployment team’s point-of-view is heard and obstacles are identified and overcome

  • Bring creative solutions to improve processes and work with leadership to define new processes where required

  • Monitor timeliness of shipments, and work with production sites, carriers, and warehouses to ensure on-time arrival

  • Review daily inventory levels at warehouses against customer orders and demand to proactively address service issues and rebalance inventory as needed

  • Key metrics for this role include customer order fill rate (service), inventory turns, and distribution/transportation costs

To thrive in this role you must:

  • 2+ years in Allocation or Analytical role

  • Possess passion and curiosity

  • Be a self-starter and be comfortable operating when the path has not been clearly defined

  • Have a bias for action while being comfortable challenging the status quo

  • Provide flawless execution

  • Experience in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities

  • The ability to build effective relationships with a wide range of cross-functional partners

  • Basic understanding of financial metrics and their impact on profitability

  • Analyze and manipulate data within Excel and Tableau to provide ad hoc analysis and recommendations
