The BI Technical Writer Analyst is responsible for producing high-quality documentation and process maps.  In this role, you will help to establish and process and data environment documentation.  The BI Technical Writer Analyst will have responsibility for ensuring consistency and clarity of documentation for the department.

Job Requirements:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the documentation requirements
  • Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards
  • Create tutorials to help end-users use a variety of applications
  • Analyze existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities
  • Create and maintain the information architecture

Requirements:

  • Sophomore or later in Bachelor’s degree program in Technical Writing, Computer Science, MIS, or similar focus
  • Critical thinking and analytics skills
  • Present technical information to the business in a manner that is easy to understand
  • Ability to deliver high quality documentation paying attention to detail
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures
