We are looking for an Assistant Product Manager who will join our Marketing team.

You could be located in Vancouver, WA (Portland, OR area) as well as Marysville, OH (Columbus, OH area), but would consider remote opportunities. 

Our Assistant Product Managers are the leaders that execute their business unit strategy on a day to day basis to drive growth and profitability. You are integrated into the daily operations of your business unit to make decisions and drive action to deliver on the needs of the customer. In this role, you are responsible for managing cross functional teams and influencing outcomes to develop and implement strategic projects. 

You may have a current title of “Assistant Brand Manager” or “Assistant Category Manager” or “Assistant Product Manager.”

Everyday you will: 

  • Analyze data, including sales results, customer insights, market research, and category trends, to identify business insights that inform strategies to grow your business and unlock new opportunities

  • Manage your portfolio of products through various states of the product lifecycle including new product innovation from ideation to commercialization and product management from go to market strategies to product maturity

  • Lead your team and cross functional partners through the development and implementation of strategic initiatives to deliver against business unit objectives

To thrive in this role you must:

  • Possess passion and curiosity to continuously seek out opportunities and ideas to strengthen your brand(s)/product(s) and grow your business

  • Have a bias for action to quickly adapt and execute on the needs of the business while being comfortable challenging the status quo 

  • Be the expert on your portfolio of products and projects with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross functional partners within sales, supply chain, research and development, communications, finance and market research

  • Understand the ins and outs of a P&L in order to evaluate and manipulate it to align strategies within the marketing mix to deliver profitable results

  • Analyze and manipulate data within Excel and Tableau to uncover insights and provide opinions on marketplace dynamics, competitive analysis, promotion and pricing evaluation
