From our office in Rozenburg we service all professional horticulture customers around the world and hydroponic retail customers outside of North and South America with a focus on lighting products.

As an agronomist you will be the key knowledge carrier on the interaction between (LED) lighting and plants; and you are able to translate this into understanding how lighting can help our customers (professional greenhouse growers for flowers and vegetables) to realize their goals. You are responsible for growing your knowledge in partnership with relevant knowledge centers, for supporting customer projects and for the creation of tools and training to our own (sales)team and our customers.

What we expect from you

  • Provide expert knowledge to support sales and customers on how to implement (LED) lighting solutions

  • Develop expert knowledge by setting up projects / partnerships with knowledge institutes and build relationships with ‘influencers’.

  • After sales support to verify our lighting solutions are delivering as promised, and to ‘learn from the field’.

  • Support sales by doing customer visits, fair attendance, and providing training.

  • Share knowledge externally with customers and partners, by means of customer visits, presentations, reports.

  • Provide input on new innovations to category management.

Your skills

  • A Bachelor or Master degree as an agronomist or similar.

  • At least 5 years of experience in the horticulture.

  • Excellent Dutch and English speaking and writing skills.

  • A good communicator, able to convince others and a good listener.

  • A pro-active self-starter, eager to get things done.

  • Dedicated and a passion to deliver better results with our customers.
